I can’t believe we’re almost a month into Spring! To be fair in Denver it is just starting to feel like spring. It’s been a long winter and the warmth of the sun feels great. I wanted to invite you to some Meditate & Create events I am leading at Ritualcravt this spring. You can find them all HERE. First up this Tuesday for the 2nd Aries New Moon.
As we transition into a new season it's important to keep our bodies and minds healthy and in balance. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the changing seasons can have a significant impact on our health, and it's essential to adjust our lifestyles accordingly.
Spring, is associated with the Liver and Gallbladder so it's the perfect time to focus on gentle cleansing and rejuvenation. I often do the Master Cleanse but being conscious of taking extra care of your Liver and Gallbladder can really help you feel good in the spring. They rule the eyes, muscles and nails as well as the mind so if you are unbalanced you might notice it in these areas. Incorporating fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables into your diet, such as leafy greens, asparagus, and berries, can help support your liver and digestive system.
To ground yourself during times of transition, it can be helpful to practice this embodiment exercise: Find a quiet space where you won't be interrupted, sit comfortably with your feet flat on the ground, and take a few deep breaths. As you inhale, visualize energy flowing up from the earth into your body, filling you with strength and stability. As you exhale, visualize any tension or stress leaving your body and returning to the earth. Repeat this exercise for several minutes until you feel centered and grounded.
The New Moon eclipse in Aries is on April 20 and Mercury goes retrograde on the 21st. Here's a simple three-card tarot or oracle spread to help you navigate this powerful energy:
The first card represents the energy you are releasing during this eclipse season.
The second card represents the new energy you are welcoming in.
The third card represents the guidance or lesson to help you navigate this transition.
I hope you are able to stay healthy and balanced during this season of change. As always, I’m here to support you on your journey to wellness.
